SUMMARY:Goombay Teen DRAFT Kickball League
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Goombay TEEN DRAFT Kickball League 2024 \nYouth between the ages of 11 – 17 are eligible to play in the league and we encourage both boys and girls to participate. The season runs from May 24th – June 28th and all the games are played at the Walker Mill Park Softball field 2 from 6:30pm-9:30pm \nPLAYER COST: $55 per player (sibling discount is $45 per child living in the same household) \n*When registering for the second child\, only pay the $45 deposit and not the entire amount of $55. \n**ALL REGISTRATION MUST BE FINAL BY WEDNESDAY\, MAY 13th** \nREGISTER AT WWW.GOOMBAY.NET-Click Here to Register  \nCOST INCLUDES: \n\n4-5 League Games (depending on number of teams registered)\nCertified Umpires\nTeam shirts\nThree weeks of open practice with experienced staff members.\n\nOpen Practice: Open practice for all teens will take place on May 3rd\, May 10th & May 17th at Walker Mill Park from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. On May 17th all teams will participate in a league wide scrimmage game from 6:30pm-9:30pm at Walker Mill Park. \nDRAFT PROCEDURE:\n \nEach child will participate in the draft which will be held on Wednesday\, May 15th.\n \n**ALL REGISTRATION MUST BE FINAL BY MONDAY\, MAY 13th**\n \nTeam rosters will be announced after the draft and teams will meet on Friday\, May 17th at the official league scrimmage game.  Players must arrive at Walker Mill Park by 6:15pm.\n\n \nCOACHES NEEDED: \nWe are looking for committed coaches to assists with coaching our teams.   \nFor more information contact Momma Mo at (301)267-8676 or Butch at (202)210-1957
