DESCRIPTION:Goombay Hike & Hang-Summer 2025 \n“Sometimes you just need to hang in the woods and recharge” \nWednesday\, June 25th | 6:00pm – 9:00pm \nPatuxent River Park-JUG BAY| 16000 Croom Airport Rd. Upper Marlboro\, MD  \n* We will meet in the Patuxent River Park Camp Ground (Site C & D).  Make sure you Google Patuxent River Park Campground for directions! \nThis is just not your regular hike… this hike is focused on relaxing in the woods\, in a hammock\, during the twilight hour by a campfire.  The Patuxent River Blue Trail is a 4-5 mile trail located in the heart of Patuxent River Park-Jug Bay. This is a Beginner/Intermediate level trail with flat terrain and rolling hills.  \nHike with a rented hammock – $40 (while supplies last) \nHike with your own hammock – $20 \n* Hike includes reserved campground\, hike leaders\, campfire with s’mores \n** If you are bringing your own hammock\, please make sure you have the proper tree straps and not rope. You may also bring your hammock stand. \nClick Here to sign up for this hike \n_____________________________________ \nHAMMOCKS: \nYou may bring your own hammock or rent one from us for only $20 (while supplies last) and we will assist you with setting it up. During the hang\, hikers can relax\, nap\, read\, listen to music or just commune with nature. We ask that if you’re listening to music\, please bring your headphones!
