DESCRIPTION:The Goombay Carry & Conceal Training Class for DC\, VA & MD (including the MD HQL) & Permit Renewal for DC & MD – March 2024 \nREGISTER AT WWW.GOOMBAY.NET \nCLASS DATES: \nSaturday\, March 23rd | 10:00am – 6:00pm \nSunday\, March 24th | 10:00am – 6:00pm (all participants  \n* Range Qualification will begin at 6:30pm and end at 8:00pm on Sunday\, March 24th\n \nLOCATION: \nMD SMALL ARMS RANGE (MSAR)\, 9801 Fallard Court\, Upper Marlboro\, MD 20772. Classroom on 2nd floor. \n  \n* Please report to the 2nd Floor Classroom by 9:40am each day to check in. If you are late\, you will not be allowed in. PLEASE BE ON TIME! \n* A short break for lunch will happen each day \nCOST:  \nFull Carry & Conceal Permit (16 hours): $350 per student \n* This fee includes training certificates for DC\, MD & VA CCP\, the Maryland HQL\, ear and eye protection\, range fees\, gun rental and ammunition and targets. \n** You may place a deposit of $175 to hold your spot. All balances are due by Monday\, March 18th. If your balance is not paid by the due date\, your deposit will be forfeited and registration canceled.\n \nMD & DC Renewal Certification (8 hours): $150 per student \n* This fee includes certificate training for the DC & MD Carry & Conceal Permit Renewal.  Participants must also qualify on the range with their concealed carry pistol and 50 rounds of ammunition.  They must also bring their own ear and eye protection.   \n** You may place a deposit of $75 to hold your spot. All balances are due by Monday\, March 18th. If your balance is not paid by the due date\, your deposit will be forfeited.\n \nNOTE: MEDICAL MARIJUANA CARD HOLDERS CAN NOT APPLY FOR A CARRY & CONCEAL PERMIT\n \n————————————————————– \nSTUDENT INSTRUCTIONS: Students must report on time as they are required by regulations to attend all of the hours. ASTC will provide each student with a 38 Special Revolver and the ammunition for their range qualification. The firearm provided will be the choice of ASTC as we cannot fulfil requests for specific makes\, models and calibers. Those that complete the class and qualify on the range will receive DC\, MD & VA training completion forms. Maryland residents will also receive their training certificate to apply for their HQL (Handgun Qualification License). Separate applications must be submitted by the students to any or all of these jurisdictions where they are seeking CCP’s.
