DESCRIPTION:The 11th Annual Goombay Beach Camping at Assateague Island-2025\n \nAssateague Island National Seashore\, 6633 Bayberry Dr\, Berlin\, MD 21811\n\nThe Goombay 11th Annual Beach Camping at Assateague Island is a vibrant\, community-oriented event that brings together nature lovers\, camping enthusiasts\, and adventure seekers for a weekend of fun and relaxation. Held on the scenic Assateague Island\, known for its stunning beaches and wild horses\, this event features beach camping\, live music\, delicious food\, and a variety of outdoor activities. It’s a perfect opportunity to disconnect from everyday life\, connect with new friends\, and enjoy the natural beauty of the island in a laid-back\, festive atmosphere.\n \nGENERAL ADMISSION CAMPERS CHECK IN: Friday\, June 13th at 9:00am | $100 per camper \n* Meal package is an additional cost of $120 (Fri-Sat/4 meals) or $100 (Sat/3 meals). \nFor General Admission Campers\, check in begins at 9:00am on Friday\, June 13th.  When campers arrive\, they will check in at the staff tent in the drop off parking lot.  The check in tent will close at 5:00pm but you may still check in with staff members around the camp ground.   \n_____________________________________________________\nWEDNESDAY EARLY BIRD CAMPERS CHECK IN: Wednesday\, June 11th at 3:00pm | $150 per camper \nFor those campers looking to arrive early and unwind before the party begins\, come down for an extra two days and enjoy the beach. You may arrive on Wednesday and stay until Sunday for an additional cost. Early bird campers must provide their own food & firewood. \nTHURSDAY EARLY BIRD CAMPERS CHECK IN: Thursday\, June 12th at 9:00am | $125 per camper \nCampers arriving on Thursday\, may check in as early as 9:00am with the Goombay staff and check out on Sunday at 11am for an additional cost.  Early bird campers must provide their own food & firewood. \n_____________________________________________________\n \nCOST: \n$100 per person (Includes camp site for two nights\, fire wood\, souvenir t-shirt\, camp guides and games and activities. Campers must provide their own camp equipment including tent\, food and transportation) \n$125 per person-Thursday Early Bird Camper  \n$150 per person-Wednesday Early Bird Camper \n* All payments are non-refundable but transferable to another camper to this trip only.
